Katie + Bryon
July 4 | Bozeman, Montana
Before Katie and I ever met, I suspected I'd love photographing her Bozeman wedding. How could I not love the celebration of a couple who met and fell in love while serving in the Air Force? To top it off, Katie and Bryon chose to wed on the Fourth of July, a detail that would make any photographer swoon.
When I finally had a chance to meet Katie in person for her boudoir photo shoot, her wedding gift to Bryon, she confirmed my suspicion. If you know Katie, you can imagine my giddiness when she strolled into the studio with her hair cascading down her gorgeous frame. And once I began shooting, I quickly realized Katie is just as sweet as she is beautiful.
By the time July 4, 2015, rolled around, I could hardly wait to work with Katie again and meet the man that stole her heart. Although living in Arizona with their daughter Evelyn, Bryon grew up in Montana and wanted a mountain wedding. Roy's Barn, one of several Bozeman wedding venues, provided that and a huge lodge for the travelers to vacation and stage their day.
Rather than a first look followed by formals, Bryon and Katie elected to see each other for the first time as Katie walked down the aisle during their ceremony that faced the Bridger Mountains.
Following their intimate ceremony, Bryon and Katie continued the festivities next to the barn where they enjoyed a barbeque, dancing, and revelry.
At the end of the day as Katie and Bryon watched the sun dip beneath the horizon, the Montana sky showed off with fireworks of its own, giving them one last gift in an already charmed day.
Congratulations, Katie and Bryon!
