Allyson + John

One year ago, I found myself traveling to Allyson's and John's wedding via a gravel road southeast of Livingston. Shortly before their nuptials, Allyson and I had a chance to meet and bond over a mutual love for travel. (Allyson and John beat me to Cuba . . . I'm still SOOO jealous.)
My excitement for their wedding grew as I wound my way through mountains and past rivers . . . pretty people and a pretty location could only mean many, pretty images.
Though living in Portland, Allyson and John staged their Montana destination wedding at John's family cabin along the West Boulder River near McLeod, Montana.
They designed a charming, backyard wedding situated next to the river running through the property. John and Allyson elected for few formal images. Instead, they wanted the thrust of the photography to focus on candid moments between their closest family and friends.
From the live music provided by family musicians, to the Mediterranean reception feast, to the dancing held beneath the Milky Way, I found no shortage of moments to capture.
Happy one year anniversary, Allyson and John! I adored your Montana Wedding.
